James Watson is now World Lightweight Tae Kwon Do champion having competed in this year’s competition
held at Birmingham’s NIA.
James fights at flyweight and has held the world title
at this weight for the last two years.
He decided to fight at a weight up in order to meet heavier and stronger competition and beat all challengers
over the two day event.
In order to win the world title he fought seven times, beating competitors from:
1 from Ireland
1 from Poland
1 from Holland
2 from Argentina (including the reigning World Champion)
1 from Wales
1 from Australia
We are all indeed proud of his achievements
and justifiably proud that he is Scottish |
